ARTISTS: CRISTIAN ROLDAN FEATURING SAM KIRK

Instituto Justice Academy provides a welcoming and supportive environment to help their students imagine a bright and progressive future. Through discussions with students, we learned that they are interested in breaking negative cycles often experienced in the community to create a future that is resourceful and uplifting for everyone. Sam Kirk and Cristian Roldan collaborated to create a mural that recognizes these hurdles while celebrating growth and change, highlights the importance of having a reliable support system, and celebrates the culture of the community.
